Graphical visualization of the Creative Industries Report 2021-2022. The Puerto Rico Creative Industries Report 2021-2022 is the seventh publication on this topic. It presents social, economic and labor indicators, based on data sets from the U.S. Census Bureau, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. Department of Education - National Center for Education Statistics and the U.S. Customs.

The Department of Finance, through the Consumer Tax Bureau, asks the Puerto Rico Police, through communication, to inspect the armories with a renewal date. This request must be filed thirty (30) days before the due date. Using the methodology of Council for Community and Economic Research (hereinafter, C2ER), a non-profit professional organization dedicated to research on community and economic development, the Institute of Statistics is responsible for collecting the prices of goods and services within the categories of supermarket, housing, transportation, public services and miscellaneous items. The data is sent to C2ER, who calculate the average prices and indices for each of the categories, allowing the comparison of costs with the equivalent cost in the United States. Finally, the Cost of Living Index (COLI) is calculated, which the C2ER has been preparing since 1968 for more than 300 urban areas in the United States and which Puerto Rico joined in the second quarter of 2014. The prices are published for users through a cost of living calculator, which makes it possible to compare the cost of living in Puerto Rico versus that of another city in the United States and vice versa. This valuation report is only an estimate of the financial situation of the system as of a single date. Neither the future condition of the system can be predicted nor can it guarantee future financial strength. Actuarial valuations do not affect the final cost of the benefit system. Statistical Report on the Number of Payrolls Distributed by Income Level, Number of Individual Payrolls and Adjusted Gross Income by Municipalities, Number of Payrolls by Personal Status, Adjusted Gross Income, Components of Adjusted Gross Income, Number of Claimed Dependents, Deductions, Net Income subject to Contribution, Determined Contribution and Work Credit. Based on information provided by taxpayers in Form 482, known as the “Individual Income Tax Form.”
It is made up of net income and other proceeds or resources that enter the General Fund. This Fund is the main source of government resources considered when preparing the joint resolution of the government budget. The role of the General Fund depends on the emergence of priorities that are determined annually by the Executive and the Legislative Assembly. This fund does not have an advance allocation, unlike special funds, which have a pre-established purpose. It is broken down into 1) revenues from state sources that include taxpayers such as income contributions, sales and use taxes (VAT), taxes, licenses, non-contributory revenues, including traditional and electronic lotteries and miscellaneous income, and 2) collections from external sources such as: customs duties and federal taxes on rum shipments, which the Government of the United States returns to the Government of Puerto Rico.

The Puerto Rico Economic Summary Journal presents a compendium of the main economic indicators, both for Puerto Rico, the United States and the international context, with their respective analyses, graphs and tables.
It includes statistics in tables and graphs provided by: 1) Special Investigations Negotiated: number of issues before its consideration, which can be converted into investigations. The investigations received and concluded, the persons accused and the charges filed are compared. It includes cases related to organized crime and drugs, public integrity and violation of civil rights, including the disappearance of children and protection of victims and witnesses, among others. 2) Office of the Attorney General: movement of cases on appeal in different forums. Determinations can range from files, suspensions and even challenges. 3) Assistant Advisory Secretariat: opinions, proposals and legislative projects that are evaluated and commented on by the Department of Justice. In addition, it compares the number of requests for legal representation of officials sued in the exercise of their functions under Act No. 9. 4) Office of Monopolistic Affairs: data related to the movement of cases and complaints of possible monopolistic practices and violations of the closure law, as well as inquiries about the location of gas stations.
The report collects the average daily population of juvenile offenders in institutions, broken down by center and status.
It includes statistics in tables and graphs provided by: 1) the Office of the Attorney General for Juvenile Affairs: data disaggregated into 13 districts on the movement of cases and charges in the stages of criminal prosecution of minors (Movement of Investigations, Movement of Misdemeanors for Determination of Probable Cause, and Movement of Misdemeanors submitted to Adjunctive Hearing). Type 1 Crime Report is carried out in coordination with the State Police
It presents statistics on deaths that occurred in road accidents. It includes breakdowns by month, day of the week, region, municipality, highway patrol units, age, gender, type of victims (Driver, Pedestrian, Passenger, Motorcyclist, Cyclist and Rider), time of the accident, and in some cases by calendar day. All accidents reported by the Bureau of Highway, Highway and Urban Train Patrol are included, even if they have not been reported through a complaint.
It is collected thanks to the collaboration of organizations that support the homeless population and the government. The results are released through a PDF report that contains statistics on the place of the interview, municipality, gender, country of origin, age, children, victims of domestic violence, participation in the armed forces, educational outreach, sources of income, certain health conditions, etc.
This report calculated the prevalence at birth for the period 2004-2008, 2007-2008 or only for the year 2008, of all congenital defects included in the Department of Health's Congenital Defects Surveillance and Prevention System, according to the year in which the defect was included. For those defects that have been monitored since 2003 or earlier, their trend was also graphed, based on annual prevalence at birth, from the year in which it was included to 2008. Then, the incidence rate for the period 2004-2009 was calculated for all the conditions monitored by Neonatal Metabolic Screening. Its trend was also graphed based on the annual incidence, from the year in which it was included to 2009.

It statistically describes the provision of health services offered to the confined during the 2013-2014 fiscal year. Health services are offered to the inmate from the moment they enter the Correctional System. After being placed in living areas, the confined can access outpatient health services, including general medicine services, internal medicine for chronic conditions, dental and mental health services. Another model was the psychiatric evaluation and treatment service through the telepsychiatry system. On the other hand, considering the need to address the health problems caused by the withdrawal to the use of addictive substances faced by many of those confined during their admission to the system, CHSC implemented the concept of outpatient detoxification that offers this service through three units located in the Correctional Complexes of Bayamón, Guerrero and Ponce.
