The dates committed by government entities to disclose their official data are presented. This tool promotes transparency, regularity and alignment with established standards for the dissemination of statistics in Puerto Rico.
Commitment to transparency
The Statistics Publication Schedule is an itinerary for the publication of Puerto Rico's statistics, which details the commitment of government entities to users regarding the dates of publication of their statistics. The Calendar serves multiple purposes:
1
Boost
that Puerto Rico's statistics be kept up to date.
2
Provide
a frame of reference for users.
3
Promote
the regularity of the publication of statistics.
4
Overtake
the accreditation of the quality of statistics.
5
Insure
to the rest of the world that the dissemination of Puerto Rico's statistics is governed by the same standardized calendars used in other jurisdictions.
Interagency collaboration
This year's Calendar was developed in coordination with government entities, whose participation is voluntary. Publication dates are the best approximation that statistical offices can make at this time. At the end of each year, the Institute will publish a report on the results of this project.
