To add a new paragraph (l), and to redesignate the current paragraph (l), as (m), in Article 8 of Law 76‐2013, known as the “Law of the Attorney for the Elderly of Puerto Rico”, in order to add new functions and duties to the Office of the Attorney for the Elderly, in response to the dramatic increase in grandparents raising grandchildren; and for other related purposes.

To add a new paragraph (f) to Article 3.7 of Law No. 54 of August 15, 1989, as amended, known as the “Law for the Prevention and Intervention against Domestic Violence”, for the purpose of establishing that the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, will have the obligation to notify the victim of this manifestation of violence, of the approach of the release of the perpetrator; to delimit the mandatory time to carry out the said action; and for other related purposes.

To order the Committee on Education, Art and Culture of the House of Representatives of Puerto Rico to carry out a thorough investigation regarding compliance with the implementation in public schools of the protocol in cases of bullying, as established in Circular Letter No. 12‐2012‐2013; and for other purposes.
