Public Servant Challenges and Motivations
The Puerto Rico Statistics Institute (Institute) is an entity with fiscal and administrative autonomy, created by Law 209 of 2003, as amended. The Institute coordinates the production of official statistics, ensures their quality and reliability, and promotes rapid and universal access to both public and private sector data.
In the same way, the Institute is responsible for establishing Puerto Rico's statistical public policy. For its part, the Deregulation and Administrative Efficiency Initiative (IDEA) seeks to modernize the government apparatus and simplify processes, regulations and structures, promoting operational efficiency, economic competitiveness, better citizen-centered services and transparency in accountability.
This questionnaire is a collaborative effort between the Institute of Statistics of Puerto Rico and IDEA and is aimed at public servants, employees or individuals currently working in the Government of Puerto Rico.
Through this instrument, we seek to know how you feel as a public servant, what motivates you and what are the challenges you face in your daily life. We want to better understand the experience of those who work in the service of Puerto Rico.
It will only take a few minutes to respond, but your participation will be essential to make visible the reality, commitment and sense of purpose that defines public service.
By answering this questionnaire you will be helping us to improve the work environment and the quality of life of public servants!
IMPORTANT: This questionnaire will not ask you for personal identifiers or your specific place of employment or position of employment.
