To order the Commission on Federal, International Relations, Status and Veteran of the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico to conduct research and study on obtaining and accessing updated statistics on how many veterans reside in Puerto Rico; likewise to identify whether the Puerto Rico Institute of Statistics has such information and keeps it updated through data produced by the U.S. Census Bureau; and for other purposes.

To order the Department of the Family, the Institute of Statistics and the Puerto Rico Police Bureau to provide statistics on the incidence of child abuse and child exploitation in Puerto Rico since March 2020, the month that the closure and curfew began due to COVID-19; to provide the plan of action to address and combat child abuse and exploitation; and for other related purposes.

To amend Article 13 of Law 209-2003, as amended, known as the PR Institute of Statistics Act, for the purpose of ordering all governmental entities of the Government of Puerto Rico, municipalities, and public corporations to make all their financial information available to citizens on the Institute's official website.

To create the “Freedom of Knowledge Act”, in order to declare the public nature of any study, the product of research funded with public, state or federal funds for the purpose of expanding the public policy of transparency based on access to public and reliable information and statistics; to guarantee access to the general public to any study resulting from research funded with public, state or federal funds; to establish responsibilities, exceptions, penalties and mandatory procedures and delegate the guarantees of this Act to the Puerto Rico Institute of Statistics.
