Date: May 22, 2025 P. of C. 562: To amend Article 2.01 of Chapter 2 of Act No. 122-2017, known as the “New Government of Puerto Rico Act”, and the first paragraph of Article 3 of Act No. 209-2003, as amended, known as the “Puerto Rico Statistics Institute Act”, for the purpose of including the Puerto Rico Statistics Institute among the entities exempt from the provisions of the above-mentioned Act No. 122 and to express such exclusion in such laws, in order to preserve nature of the Institute of Statistics of Puerto Rico as an autonomous administrative and fiscally independent entity of the Executive Branch of the Government of Puerto Rico; and make technical corrections.

Fecha: 11 de enero de 2019R. de la C. 71: Para ordenar a la Comisión de Gobierno de la Cámara de Representantes de Puerto Rico, realizar una abarcadora evaluación del funcionamiento administrativo y organizacional de las oficinas, instrumentalidades, juntas, departamentos, corporaciones públicas y agencias gubernamentales, así como el manejo presupuestario y la calidad de los servicios que éstos le brindan a la ciudadanía, con el propósito de identificar alternativas y presentar recomendaciones que produzcan un mejoramiento del sistema gubernamental puertorriqueño; y para otros fines relacionados.

To amend Articles 2, 3 and 5, add Articles 16 and 23 and renumber the current Articles 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 of Law 209-2003, as amended, known as the Puerto Rico Institute of Statistics Act, as Articles 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 24, respectively, in order to provide for the creation of the Office for Evaluation and Monitoring of the Implementation and Results of Public Policies of the Government of Puerto Rico, attached to the Institute of Statistics of Puerto Rico, to define its structure and functions; and for other related purposes.
