To create the “Law for the Recovery of Domestic Animals” for the purpose of establishing a uniform procedure that facilitates and legitimizes the recovery of lost and found domestic animals; add a new paragraph (8) to Article 6 of Law No. 36 of May 30, 1984, as amended, for the purpose of creating a website managed by the State Animal Control Office (OECA), attached to the Department of Health, under the Environmental Health Program, where photographs of animals will be published for the purpose of complying with provided for in this Act and for other related purposes.

Date: April 30, 2025R. del S. 89: To order the Puerto Rico Senate Health Committee to conduct an investigation into the uniformity in the application of immunity and the establishment of a cap on claims for medical malpractice exclusively in cases of negligence in Puerto Rico, considering the differences in the legal protection afforded to doctors under the jurisdiction of the Industrial Commission compared to those who practice with or without privileges in private medical facilities, in order to identify mechanisms that contribute to the retention of the medical profession on the Island.
