To amend Article 1.3 of Act No. 54 of August 15, 1989, also known as the “Domestic Violence Prevention and Intervention Act”, to recognize economic violence as a form of domestic violence; to order the Office of the Women's Attorney, Department of Family; Department of Justice; Department of Education; Department of Housing; Department of Economic Development; Department of Health; Department of Health; Police Negotiate; and Statistics Institute to take affirmative action to ensure dissemination and compliance with public policy against this and all other manifestations of domestic violence; and for other relevant purposes.

To amend paragraph (d) of Article 8 of Law 78? 2013, known as the “Law of the Attorney for Persons with Disabilities of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico” for the purpose of expressly including within the duties and responsibilities of that office the creation of an Integrated Labor Compliance System, which will serve as a continuous instrument for monitoring and adjusting public policy, programs, benefits, resources, incentives and services for people with disabilities in the area of employment and in business, commercial, cooperative opportunities and related economic activities, public or private; as well as for other purposes.

To order the Integrated Development Commissions of the Eastern Region; and the Labor Affairs and Public Service Retirement Systems Committees of the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, to carry out comprehensive research on the unemployment rate, its causes, and possible sources of employment for the municipalities of Yabucoa, Maunabo, Patillas and San Lorenzo.
