To amend Article 10 of Law No. 81 of March 14, 1912, as amended, known as the “Organic Law of the Department of Health”; to amend Article 6 and 13 of Law No. 209-2003, as amended, known as the “Puerto Rico Institute of Statistics Act”, in order to establish guarantees for the management and delivery of vital statistics, between the Department of Health and the Puerto Rico Institute of Statistics; create a special provision for the management and delivery of vital statistics between the Department of Health and the Puerto Rico Statistics Institute when there is a declaration of emergency, and for other related purposes.

To establish the Law on Automatic Admission to the University of Puerto Rico, in order to have an automatic admission process to the University of Puerto Rico for all fourth-year high school students who are in 10% of their class and for other purposes.

To amend Article 17 of Act No. 209 of August 28, 2003, as amended, known as the “Puerto Rico Institute of Statistics Act”, to provide that the civil actions contemplated in this Act may be brought into force in the event of non-compliance by government bodies with obligations related to statistical activities, the preparation of the statistical product or publication of statistical reports, as required in their organic laws, regulations or special laws; incorporate a correction technique in paragraph (1) of that Article; and for other purposes.

To order the Health and Nutrition Commission; and the Committee on Education, Training and Individual Development of the Puerto Rico Senate to conduct an investigation regarding the administration of the revalidity exam for aspiring doctors, in order to determine if it has been administered in accordance with the provisions of Law 139? 2008, known as the “Medical Licensing and Discipline Board Act”; and to the criteria that apply in the United States for the same type of exam offered in Puerto Rico.
