To amend Article 6.25 of Act No. 168-2019 known as the “Puerto Rico Weapons Act of 2020” and establish the duty of a licensed citizen to register the weapons or part of a weapon with serial number, marks or printed symbols that he acquires; to establish penalties and for other related purposes.
To order the Committee on Economic Development, Planning, Telecommunications, Public-Private Partnerships and Energy of the House of Representatives of Puerto Rico to conduct continuous research on all matters related to economic priorities; planning, telecommunications; Public-Private Partnerships, energy, exchange and commercial competition at local, interstate or with other jurisdictions outside the United States of America; monopoly in its various expressions; technology and biotechnology; the economy of knowledge; strategic infrastructure projects that tend to economic development; and those issues and situations of industry, commerce, telecommunications, public-private alliances, energy and the economy in general.
To amend Article 6 of Law 209-2003, as amended, to provide that the Institute of Statistics of Puerto Rico may request, accept and receive donations, and set and collect reasonable fees for obtaining information and studies that originate, analyze or disclose by the Institute; that the sums collected by this concept will be entered into a special account called “Special Fund of the Institute of Statistics of Puerto Rico”, which may be used to defray the operating and operating expenses of the Institute and the statistical activities that the Institute determines; to amend Article 8 of the above-mentioned Act No. 209-2003, to establish that the Board of Directors of the Institute has the power to approve the acquisition of equipment, materials and services whose value exceeds one hundred thousand ($100,000) dollars; and to amend Article 11 of the aforementioned Law 209-2003...
