To order the Secretary of the Puerto Rico Department of Education to vigorously implement the provisions of Articles 1.03 and 3.10 of Act No. 149? 1999, as amended, known as the “Organic Law of the Puerto Rico Department of Education”, and to review the agency's internal regulations and protocols on compulsory school attendance; to make it mandatory to intervene with students who leave schools during regular class hours, to open an administrative investigation into the intervened student, to refer to the relevant agencies; and for other related purposes.

To amend Section 10 of Act No. 15 of April 1931, as amended, known as the “Organic Law of the Department of Labor and Human Resources”, for the purpose of ordering the Department of Labor and Human Resources of Puerto Rico to use, in the surveys conducted by the Bureau of Statistics of the Department of Labor and Human Resources, in the Population Census and in any other survey carried out for these purposes to measure food security, the Scale to Measure Food Security for Puerto Rico designed by the Graduate School of Public Health of the Medical Sciences Campus of the University of Puerto Rico; add a line to any survey carried out for the purpose of knowing how many women are heads of household; and for other related purposes.

Date: June 21, 2023 R. del S. 716: To conduct research on the current public policy of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico related to identifying and quantifying the existing population of patients diagnosed with some type of dementia, the accessibility and quantity of public and private services necessary to care for and treat them, as well as compliance with all laws and regulations that cover this population; and for other related purposes.
