For the formulation of a proposal to establish the Puerto Rico Ten-Year Education Plan, which embodies citizen participation as a complementary mechanism for the creation of public policy of the Department of Education of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Puerto Rico Council of Education and other public agencies and instruments related to public education in the country; to provide for the mechanisms and structures for the processes of consultation, deliberation, creation and development of the Puerto Rico Ten-Year Education Plan Rico; to establish the Puerto Rico Ten-Year Education Plan Cross-Sectorial Commission, define its composition, functions, obligations and validity; to establish the Advisory Committee for the Puerto Rico Ten-Year Education Plan, define its composition, functions, obligations and validity; and for other purposes.

To order the Health and Nutrition Commission; and the Committee on Education, Training and Individual Development of the Puerto Rico Senate to conduct an investigation regarding the administration of the revalidity exam for aspiring doctors, in order to determine if it has been administered in accordance with the provisions of Law 139? 2008, known as the “Medical Licensing and Discipline Board Act”; and to the criteria that apply in the United States for the same type of exam offered in Puerto Rico.

To implement the Plan to Quantify Unpaid Work in Puerto Rico; create the Special Committee to Quantify Time Use in Puerto Rico; order the Committee to carry out a Time Use Survey; establish the functions, purpose and composition of the Committee; order the committee to quantify the magnitude of unpaid work, analyze the gender disparity in participation in unpaid work, study demographic and social variables that affect the disparity of participation in unpaid work, quantify the value of unpaid work within the Gross Domestic Product; and for other purposes.
