To create the 'Community Capital Program', attached to the Department of Economic Development and Commerce (DDEC), to provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and local investors with the training, support and tools necessary to take advantage of the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act and the corresponding regulations issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission, known as Regulation CF, which make available to SMEs another alternative for raising capital, known as crowdfunding or equity crowdfunding; define the responsibilities of the Secretariat of Economic Development and Trade for the Program; provide for the submission of an Annual Report on the Program's performance; and for other related purposes.

Fecha: 24 de febrero de 2017P. del S. 13: Para añadir un inciso (l) al Artículo 8 de la Ley Núm. 209-2003, según enmendada, conocida como la Ley del Instituto de Estadísticas de Puerto Rico, a los fines de disponer que la Junta de Directores tendrá como parte de sus deberes y poderes la autoridad para adoptar los estándares éticos aplicables a toda persona que labore en las unidades de estadísticas de los organismos gubernamentales o que asesore, intervenga o colabore con el Servicio de Producción Estadística del Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico; y para otros fines.

To order the Puerto Rico Statistics Institute to carry out a formal census, with all the necessary research and scientific guidelines to help clarify the number of deaf people in the country, as well as their peculiarities and language used to communicate.
Fecha: 1 de octubre de 2018P. del S. 814: Para enmendar los Artículos 2, 3, 9, 10 y 36 de la Ley Núm. 24 de abril de 1931, según enmendada, conocida como “Ley del Registro Demográfico de Puerto Rico”, con el fin de incluir en el Certificado de Defunción el encasillado de desastres naturales como elemento contribuyente al fallecimiento; y ordenar a la División de Registro Demográfico y Estadísticas Vitales del Departamento de Salud enviar semestralmente el informe con las estadísticas vitales al Instituto de Estadísticas de Puerto Rico y para otros fines relacionados.
