To create the “Law for the Recovery of Domestic Animals” for the purpose of establishing a uniform procedure that facilitates and legitimizes the recovery of lost and found domestic animals; add a new paragraph (8) to Article 6 of Law No. 36 of May 30, 1984, as amended, for the purpose of creating a website managed by the State Animal Control Office (OECA), attached to the Department of Health, under the Environmental Health Program, where photographs of animals will be published for the purpose of complying with provided for in this Act and for other related purposes.

Fecha: 15 de octubre de 2013Para enmendar los Artículos 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 11 y 58 de la Ley 246?2011, conocida como “Ley para la Seguridad, Bienestar y Protección de Menores”, con el propósito de añadir la “trata humana” en cualesquiera de sus modalidades como una de los formas de maltrato de menores contempladascomo política pública en esta ley; añadir la “trata humana” como una de las definiciones de abuso sexual de menores; incluir la “trata humana” como parte de la definición de maltrato y de maltrato institucional; definir la conducta o el concepto de “trata humana”; incluir la prevención contra la trata humana como una obligación tanto de la familia como del Estado; incluir la trata humana como una de las instancias en las que el Departamento de Justicia y la Policía de Puerto Rico debe realizar investigaciones conjuntas cuando se refieran o presenten casos de maltrato; incluir los casos de trata humana en el Registro Central de Casos de Protección; incluir, dentro de las responsabilidades del Departamento de la Familia...
