Fecha: 22 de octubre de 2015Para establecer la “Ley de Registro de Eventos Vitales de Puerto Rico”, a los fines de establecer la Oficina de Registro de Eventos Vitales de Puerto Rico (OREV), adscrita al Departamento de Salud; establecer sus funciones y responsabilidades; disponer una cantidad mínima de registros locales; crear el cargo directivo de Registrador Estatal; establecer requisitos mínimos, el término, funciones y facultades del cargo; implantar un método de seguridad al Sistema de Eventos Vitales para propósitos de salud pública, seguridad nacional, entre otros; establecer los procedimientos en el manejo de documentos legales previstos en la Ley como lo son los certificados e informes de eventos vitales; imponer controles para elaborar, mantener y divulgar el contenido de los récords y reportes vitales bajo su custodia; derogar la Ley Núm. 24 de 22 de abril de 1931, según enmendada, conocida como “Ley del Registro Demográfico de Puerto Rico”; derogar la Ley Núm. 4 de 4 de diciembre de 1947; derogar la Ley Núm. 370 de 13 de may
