Date: May 6, 2025 P. of C. 73: To amend Articles 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 11, 13 and 21, add a new Article 22 and renumber Article 22 as Article 23 of Law 209-2003, as amended, known as the “Puerto Rico Institute of Statistics Act”, for the purpose of making technical amendments; providing that the Institute of Statistics of Puerto Rico may request, accept and receive donations; establish that the sums collected under this concept may be used to defray the operating and operating expenses of the Institute And the statistical activities that the Institute determines; provide for the power of the Institute's Board of Directors to approve the acquisition of equipment, materials and services whose value exceeds one hundred thousand ($100,000) dollars; provide that the Board of Directors shall have, as part of its duties and powers, the authority to adopt the ethical standards applicable to any person who works in the statistical units of government agencies or who advises, intervenes or collaborates with the Free State Statistical Production Service Associate of Puerto Rico; constitute a work unit and allocate the necessary resources to, at the request of any person, private entity or government agency, or the Judicial Branch, provide compensated services; clarify the obligations of government agencies regarding the sending of statistical information to the Institute; provide that the Governor will include in the model budget the calculations for the current expenses of said Institute, without reviewing them, to guarantee its fiscal stability; create the Program of Academies and Workshops of the Statistics Institute of Puerto Rico; establish a certification system for continuing education as a requirement for occupying and remaining in a position or position, or offering outside consulting or advice; ordering the Institute to prepare the necessary forms for notification by government agencies, and for other related purposes.

To amend Article 13 of Law 209-2003, as amended, known as the PR Institute of Statistics Act, for the purpose of ordering all governmental entities of the Government of Puerto Rico, municipalities, and public corporations to make all their financial information available to citizens on the Institute's official website.

Fecha: 12 de diciembre de 2013Para ordenar al Secretario del Departamento de Educación de Puerto Rico implementar vigorosamente las disposiciones de los Artículos 1.03 y 3.10 de la Ley Núm. 149?1999, según enmendada, conocida como la “Ley Orgánica del Departamento de Educación de Puerto Rico”, y revisar la reglamentación y protocolos internos de la agencia sobre la asistencia obligatoria a la escuela; a los fines de hacer obligatorio que se intervenga con estudiantes que abandonen las escuelas durante horario regular de clases, abrir una investigación administrativa sobre el estudiante intervenido, referir a las agencias pertinentes; y para otros fines relacionados.

Fecha: 27 de agosto de 2018R. del S. 663: Para ordenar a la Comisión de Gobierno del Senado de Puerto Rico realizar una investigación abarcadora sobre la gestión del Gobierno de Puerto Rico y sus instrumentalidades en la preparación del Censo 2020, evaluar el resultado de las pruebas realizadas, y evaluar las iniciativas tomadas por todas sus instrumentalidades para atender proactivamente los retos que nos presenta la dramática merma en población acaecida luego del paso del huracán María y en el manejo y uso de la información censal.
