There is no statistical report as such, there is only a list with the names of established shooting clubs, names of their owners, physical and/or postal address, email address, telephone number, license numbers and renewal date. This data is for the purpose of verifying the renewal date, to notify them and send them via email, the documents for such purposes. It is not a statistical report, it is the issuance of a certification, that is, a license to continue with the business, valid for two years, which is the part that belongs to the Puerto Rico Police.
In accordance with Article 3.02 of the Puerto Rico Weapons Act, licenses for shooting clubs will be granted only to those clubs dedicated to the sport of target shooting that are constituted in accordance with the provisions of this Act. The license request for these cases must be requested by the owner. This license will allow the practice of sports for two (2) years, only on the site or places designated for this purpose by the Department of Recreation and Sports.
