To mark Chronic Disease Day, a proclamation was presented recognizing this date and highlighting the importance of prevention, early diagnosis, and the proper management of these conditions.

Chronic diseases, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and certain types of cancer, are among the leading causes of illness, which is why adopting healthy habits and getting preventive screenings can make a difference.

Let’s continue to promote education and awareness to help improve the quality of life for those living with chronic diseases.
