Special investigation into the condition of the solar panels, batteries, and bladder-type cisterns donated by the American Red Cross to 160 public schools in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria. The project aimed to strengthen the resilience of school communities, which also serve as emergency shelters.
To evaluate the physical and operational conditions of the solar energy systems (panels and batteries) and cisterns installed in schools, identify deficiencies in their operation, and propose recommendations to improve the project's long-term effectiveness.
