At the moment, this report summarizes the data that the Puerto Rico Department of Education sends to the United States Department of Education through file N032. The report consists of an Excel table with the number of students identified as' dropouts', following how this term is defined by the United States Department of Education. The data is broken down by grade (grades 7 to 12) and a grouped breakdown is also presented for all grades less than 7th grade. To compare these figures with the total number of students enrolled, the number of enrolled students (as reported to the United States Department of Education in file N05) is used.
1) Provide statistics on the number of public school students who identify themselves as' dropouts', as defined by the United States Department of Education.
2) Seek to comply with Act No. 165-2011 in order for the Department of Education to prepare and disclose the Annual School Dropout Report
