It presents a plan with the purpose of promoting the protection of water resources, ensuring the availability of water and protecting its quality, providing a basis for decision-making and setting priorities in the installation of infrastructure, and providing continuity to the water resource planning and management process, in compliance with the Law for the Conservation, Development and Use of Water Resources of Puerto Rico. It includes statistics on water use in Puerto Rico.

Objective:

Analyze the implications of the Puerto Rico Comprehensive Water Resources Plan for the protection, availability and quality of water resources, using the included statistics to inform infrastructure priorities and management decisions.
