Mean Sea Level

Data Set
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
Description:

Temporary data series where the levels (monthly averages) of sea elevation are recorded at various points in Puerto Rico. Sea level is measured using tide gauges located at various points in Puerto Rico. The measurement stations in San Juan and Isla de Magueyes have the largest amount of data. These measurements are locally relative, meaning that they are a function of a local vertical reference point.

Objective:

Keep a record of sea rise at various points in the United States, so that you can measure the rise in sea level over time.
