The report provides data on the movement of cases and charges in the 3 stages of the criminal process (Movement of Investigations, Movement of Preliminary Trial and Preliminary Hearing, and Movement of Indictments in the Superior Court) in the 13 district attorney's offices and 3 specialized divisions. The report provides breakdowns for certain crimes.

Objective:

Focus on the public policy of the Office of Criminal Affairs (Office of the Attorney General).

Main Variables
Total number of investigations, completed investigations, charges and cases brought before the court, if there was cause or not; total of preliminary charges, closed charges, determination of cause; total of indictments in the Superior Court, and others.
Frequency of release of the report:
Yearly
Reference Population:
Cases of people involved in serious crimes, as well as cases of people involved in less serious crimes that are related to a serious crime.
