It includes statistics in tables and graphs provided by: 1) the Office of the Attorney General for Juvenile Affairs: data disaggregated into 13 districts on the movement of cases and charges in the stages of criminal prosecution of minors (Movement of Investigations, Movement of Misdemeanors for Determination of Probable Cause, and Movement of Misdemeanors submitted to Adjunctive Hearing). The report presents breakdowns of the minors found incurred (guilty) in misdemeanors (crimes), by type of misdemeanor, age and sex. It also provides information on the number of minors in diversion programs. 2) Family Relations Offices: data on investigations for cases of maintenance and the establishment or modification of alimony, court appearances related to those cases, movement of ex-parte (non-contentious) and civil (adoption, declaration of incapacity, appointment of guardian, declaration of heirs, deprivation or waiver of parental authority, etc.), and movement of cases of child abuse.

Objective:

1) Present the movement of cases and misdemeanors by district at the stages of juvenile criminal proceedings.

2) Focus on public policy of the Office of Children and Family Affairs.

3) Present the movement of cases involving the establishment of alimony, child abuse and other civil cases, by district.

Main Variables
Report of the Juvenile Attorneys Offices: Total number of investigations, completed investigations, misdemeanors or complaints submitted to the court, whether or not there was probable cause; total number of misdemeanors submitted to the juvenile court, total number of misdemeanors resolved, total of misdemeanors in which minors were found incurred, number of files for compliance with the diversion and movement of minors in a diversion program, among others. Report of the Family Attorney's Offices: Total investigations for food cases, total cases for the establishment or modification of alimony, resolved cases, total ex-parte and civil cases treated, total cases of child abuse and total cases of child abuse resolved, among other variables.
