It estimates the current water demand and the projected demand for the year 2025 for agriculture in Puerto Rico. The study is part of an integrated DRNA effort to update Puerto Rico's Comprehensive Plan for the Conservation, Development and Use of Water Resources. Some of the information is presented in a graphical format using a geographic information system (GIS). The study uses the Penman-Monteith method to estimate water use.
