Description:

The Multisectorial Committee appointed by the Governor of Puerto Rico, Honorable Ricardo Roselló Nevarez, (OE-2017-017) is aimed at establishing recommendations on legislation aimed at increasing the minimum wage in Puerto Rico. This administration has a clear commitment to improving the quality of life of all Puerto Ricans. For this reason, the Multisectorial Committee identified the need to carry out an economic study to analyze the impact on the economy of Puerto Rico of the introduction of an increase in the minimum wage in the private sector.

Objective:

Analyze the economic impact of implementing an increase in the minimum wage in Puerto Rico's private sector to establish legislative recommendations.
