Description:

Five-year report with statistics on water use in Puerto Rico and the United States. The estimates are by water source (surface water and groundwater, both fresh and salt) and categories of uses (public supply, domestic use, irrigation, livestock, aquaculture, industrial, mining, and thermoelectric plants).

Objective:

1) Inform the public about trends in water use in Puerto Rico and the United States.

2) To publicize how water supplies are affected by demographic, economic factors, public policy decisions and weather fluctuations.
