Description:

It presents a comprehensive index that makes it possible to evaluate maternal and child health by municipality based on sociodemographic indicators, the adequacy of prenatal care and the outcome of pregnancy. Municipalities with low IISMIPR are representative of a better state of maternal and child health.

Objective:

Analyze the maternal and child health of a municipality using the Comprehensive Maternal and Child Health Index (IISMIPR), based on sociodemographic indicators, prenatal care and pregnancy outcomes.
