Description:

The Economic Census is conducted every 5 years, in the years ending in 2 and 7. Your results aren't published all at once. It is being published in parts, as available: Manufacturing, Construction and Series by Geographic Area. It covers approximately 96% of the entire economy. To have a complete profile of the economy, it is necessary to complement it with the Census of Agriculture.

Objective:

1) Provide a detailed picture of the economy.

2) Develop public policy, research, support for entrepreneurship and local businesses, and disaster responses, among others.

Main Variables
Production, added value, materials, employment, payroll, number of owners, operating expenses, inventories, establishments, number of manufacturing e-businesses and hours of work, among others.
Frequency of release of the report:
Every 5 years
