Objective:

Provide information on private educational institutions at the preschool, elementary, secondary, vocational, technical and high skill and post-secondary non-university educational institutions in Puerto Rico, for public policy decision-making, as well as for dissemination to the public and researchers.

Description:

This survey is conducted as a collaborative project between the Department of State (Council of Education) and the Puerto Rico Institute of Statistics. The reports gather information on the number and type of teachers, enrollment in private non-university academic institutions, number of licensed institutions, in addition to gathering variables such as educational district, gender, specialty, and disabilities.
