The Survey of Innovation in Manufacturing Companies, Fiscal Year 2015 provides for the first time estimates of the number of innovative companies in Puerto Rico, the type of innovations they carry out and other indicators necessary for the analysis of the Puerto Rican economy. This Survey is based on the definitions and methodological standards outlined in the Oslo Manual of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and adopted by UNESCO, allowing the comparison of its results with those of other surveys that have been carried out for several decades in other countries.
