Objective:
Measure the resources allocated to Research and Development (R&D in English) in Puerto Rico, a fundamental indicator of the knowledge economy.
Description:

It details the investment in Research and Development projects in Puerto Rico, as well as the human resources dedicated to these projects. The analysis includes private sector companies (detailed by sector), post-secondary education institutions, private non-profit organizations and public sector entities. In order to be able to make comparisons with other countries, the definitions and methodologies used in the rest of the world are used, as agreed in the Frascati Manual Of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
