2026-03 Administrative Assistant

Administrative work that consists of the coordination, attention, management and monitoring of orders and administrative matters related to the administrative and operational processes of the Puerto Rico Institute of Statistics (IEPR).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

· Baccalaureate in Office Systems Administration, Secretarial Sciences or Business Administration, from a licensed and/or accredited educational institution.

· One (1) year of experience in administrative and/or office administration work that includes the use of technological applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint or other required applications or programs.

 

*A combination of academic preparation and experience may be considered.

 

NATURE OF THE EXAM

 

The exam will consist of an evaluation of academic preparation and work experience. Also, through an interview, proficiency in Spanish and English languages, technical knowledge and interpersonal communication skills will be examined.

 

REGISTRATION OF ELIGIBLE

 

The established eligibility record will be canceled once the position is filled.

 

TRANSITIONAL PERIOD

 

Until June 30, 2026 with the possibility of extension.

  1. Only citizens of the United States of America and foreigners legally authorized to work will qualify.  
  2. Every applicant must include, together with their application for employment, a copy of their transcript of credits with the specialty and degree conferred.  
  3. In addition, it must include official employment certification (s) from the entity or entities in which you have acquired management-related work or professional experience, indicating the nature of your functions and the exact dates of beginning and ending of the experience (s).  
  4. It must also include the following documents (no more than 90 days from the date of opening of this call): a Debt Certification and a Certificate of Filing of Payroll from the Department of Finance, Criminal Record Certificate from the Puerto Rico Police and a Certification of Compliance from ASSUME.
  5. Requests that do not meet everything set out here above or that are received after the closing date of the call will not be evaluated.
  6. Documents will not be accepted after the closing date of the call.
