To adopt the “Law for the Prevention, Protection and Assistance to Victims and Intervention against Human Trafficking”, with the purpose of protecting and helping victims of human trafficking in Puerto Rico; establishing mechanisms for the prevention and prosecution of the crime of human trafficking; creating the Multisectorial Board for the Prevention and Remedies against the Crime of Human Trafficking in Puerto Rico composed of agencies of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branch, and non-governmental organizations, to study and monitor the problem of human trafficking in Puerto Rico and, among other things, to propose legislation, regulations and protocols to combat this evil; to enable collaborative agreements between agencies; and to establish terms for delivering reports so that established recommendations can be immediately addressed; to amend Article 7 of Law 183-1998, as amended, known as the “Law for Compensation for Victims of Crime”, in order to...

To establish by law the creation of the Foreign Trade Board, which will be responsible for designing a strategic foreign trade plan that includes the use of those resources and programs provided by the federal government of the United States and the agencies of the Government of the Commonwealth.
