To amend Article 14 of Law 209-2003, as amended, known as the “Puerto Rico Institute of Statistics Act”, to provide that the civil actions contemplated by this law may be brought into force in the event of non-compliance by government bodies with obligations related to statistical activities, the preparation of the statistical product or publication of statistical reports, as required in their organic laws, regulations or special laws; incorporate a technical correction in paragraph (1) of said article; and for other purposes.

To amend subparagraphs (a), (b) and (e) of Article 4 of Law 214? 2004, as amended, known as the “Act to Create the Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust” for the purpose of incorporating the Puerto Rico Director of Statistics as a trustee member, and for other related purposes.

To create the “Law for the Recovery of Domestic Animals” for the purpose of establishing a uniform procedure that facilitates and legitimizes the recovery of lost and found domestic animals; add a new paragraph (8) to Article 6 of Law No. 36 of May 30, 1984, as amended, for the purpose of creating a website managed by the State Animal Control Office (OECA), attached to the Department of Health, under the Environmental Health Program, where photographs of animals will be published for the purpose of complying with provided for in this Act and for other related purposes.
