To amend articles 1.3, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 of Law 120-2014, known as the “Incentives Act for the Generation and Retention of Jobs in SMEs”, in order to expand the categories of Eligible Expansion SMEs and Eligible SMEs with Net Operating Losses to those companies that have started operations after January 1, 2014 and to temper the partial reimbursement of salaries to the new state minimum wage established by Law 47-2021; add a new article 2.7 to Law 120-2014, known as the “Incentives Act for the Generation and Retention of Jobs in SMEs”, for the purpose of requiring an Annual Performance Report on the provisions of the Act; to amend Section 12-B of Law No. 72 of June 21, 1956, known as the Puerto Rico Employment Security Act, as amended, to clarify the source of funding for partial wage reimbursement; and for other related purposes.

To amend Article 5 of Law 97 - 2018, known as the “Bill of Rights of People with Down Syndrome”, in order to impose on the Department of Health the obligation to establish a permanent external clinic, aimed at providing all the necessary and indispensable services for the full care and treatment of people aged zero (0) and older, with the condition of Down Syndrome; to provide for the creation and management of a registry of people with Down Syndrome, in order for the State to maintain statistics officers and create a profile of the cases that exist in Puerto Rico with this condition; and for other related purposes.
Fecha: 17 de abril de 2015Para añadir unos nuevos incisos (o) y (p), y redesignar los actuales incisos (o), (p), (q) y(r), como los incisos (q), (r), (s) y (t), respectivamente, del Artículo 5 de la Ley 209?2003, según enmendada, conocida como “Ley del Instituto de Estadísticas de Puerto Rico”, a los fines de otorgar a la referida entidad gubernamental, la responsabilidad de promover la plena inclusión de Puerto Rico en todos los programas de estadísticas internacionales, mediante acuerdos de cooperación bilateral y multilateral en materia estadística con otras organizaciones, países o regiones, para así contar con mecanismos de medición que permitan comparar el desarrollo de la Isla con el resto de los países del mundo; y para atemperar las disposiciones de esta Ley con lo establecido en el inciso (j) del Artículo 4 de la Ley Núm. 77 de 19 de junio de 1979, según enmendada, conocida como “Ley de la Administración de Asuntos Federales de Puerto Rico”.
