Population aging is not distributed randomly

On March 27, 2026, during the 46th Annual Forum of Research and Education at the Medical Sciences Campus of the University of Puerto Rico, the research poster entitled ”Spatial Patterns of Population Aging in Puerto Rico at the Municipal Level, 2024” was presented. The study by Lanselotte Oliveras, statistics projects asistant, analyzed the spatial distribution of population aging in Puerto Rico at the municipal level using demographic indicators and spatial analysis techniques.
