To recognize the great contribution of statistics to the quality of life of all, the Puerto Rico Institute of Statistics joins organizations around the world in celebrating World Statistics Day 2015. The objectives are:
- Highlight the contributions of statistics in the different areas of knowledge.
- Build an environment that brings together students, teachers, researchers, public employees, statisticians and other professionals who share a common interest in statistics.
- To publicize the functions and contributions of the Institute in the community.
