Description

The presentation will show the results of the analyses related to the migrant population of Puerto Rico. Specifically, emphasizing changes in the most recent years of available information. In addition, notes will be shared on the methodology used in the study of this population in Puerto Rico and other jurisdictions of the United States.

Objectives

The participant will have the opportunity to learn about various specific aspects of the population that mobilized from the place of residence between Puerto Rico and the United States.

· Learn about available sources of information on the movement of people between jurisdictions.

· Present traits of immigrants and emigrants from Puerto Rico.

· Share analyses that could serve as a basis for possible research on the migrant population.
