Description
This webinar will present the main indicators of Puerto Rico's financial sector, with an emphasis on information published by the Office of the Commissioner of Financial Institutions (OCIF), the Puerto Rico Public Corporation for the Supervision and Insurance of Cooperatives (COSSEC) and the Puerto Rico Statistics Institute (IEPR). Their data sources, the economic phenomena they represent and where to access official information will be discussed. The purpose is to contextualize these indicators within the macroeconomic and financial analysis of Puerto Rico.
Objectives
At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to identify the main sources of information in the financial system, understand the most relevant indicators and use them as a tool to interpret economic discussions and support decision-making in their organizations.
