Prerequisites:

- Basic knowledge of statistics

- Basic management of statistical analysis programs

- Internet connection

- Computer access

-- 4 GB RAM (or more)

-- 16 GB memory

-- Administrator privileges to install Tableau Public (version 2025.3.2) or more recent).

-- Operating Systems: Windows 10/11 64-bit or MacOS 12.6+

Description: Tableau Public software makes it easy to explore and analyze data using tools for visualization. Widely used in Business Intelligence, this interactive platform facilitates the effective and dynamic presentation of data for any discipline where statistical data is being worked with.

Objectives: The student will be guided and will have the opportunity to do exercises to develop the basic skills for managing Tableau Public software.

Specific objectives:

1. Data preparation, loading and handling;

2. Knowledge of components and interface manipulation;

3. Generation of tabulations, graphs and statistical maps;

4. Generation of dashboards and Storyboards;

5. Publication of the visualizations.
